McCall's Meat & Fish Co. is hiring for a full-time Butcher / Meat-Cutter to start ASAP.This employee's main focus will be to oversee the chicken +sausage program,Ideal candidate is someone with butcher shop experience and/or an experienced chef looking to hone in their meat-cutting skills. 40 hours a week (Must be able to work weekends)Hourly Wage + TipsBenefits: - Employee discount- Health insurance- Paid trainingIdeal candidate:- Has previous experience cutting meat- 2+ years kitchen experience - Willing to learn from our seasoned staff- Works with a sense of urgency + attention to detail - Able to lift 50 pounds- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment- Is a team player with a positive attitude- Has a CA Food Handler's Card or can have one by assigned start dateJob duties:- Cutting meat for sausage/grinds, grinding meats, breaking down whole chickens, trussing whole chickens, making stock, etc. (As needed, to assist team)- Helping fulfill and organize customer orders- Assisting cleaning and properly packaging meat for storage- Any task needed from the butcher staff or management Check out our business at mccallsmeatandfish.com or on Instagram @mccallsmeatandfish.This job posting is for our shop located at 3141 Glendale Blvd. in Atwater Village.
